Danielle Sea- Hot Tips For Sexy Holiday Hair

My girl Danielle Sea, the hairstylist from heaven is spreading christmas cheer with some hot tips for sexy holiday hair. Jingle Babe.....

How to survive December

December is a month-long marathon of parties, soirees, galas, and get together`s. Don’t look the same all month! Here are my tricks to keep it gorgeous.

How to have your waved or curled blowout last for days (and nights)

Instead of setting your style with heavy hairsprays or using slick oily serums that will only make your style drop before the night is over, get your stylist to spray salt spray . I recommend Swedish brand Sachajuan’s for a lighter hold and R&Co’s Rockaway salt spray for a heavier, grittier hold) from roots to mid-lengths and blow dry in. After styling, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to break up the curls and spray: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($52.90) for lift and separation. Use the same spray to refresh and revitalize the look.

Maximize your look with hair jewelry from Jennifer Behr. The Celestial coronet is perfect for a statement piece. The headband is a series of stars, exquisite metal work and is hand set with Swarovski crystals. Her pieces are hand-made in New York and are of the utmost quality (Prices vary from $100 to over $1000 depending on the piece).

Be daring (and postpone the need for a fresh blowout) by pairing her Crystal Voillette embellished angora and merino wool blend beanie with a smartly tailored pantsuit. No one will be the wiser and the look will be both stunning and effortless.

Change your perfume

Instead of spraying your traditional perfume near your hair and body and risk the drying effects from the alcohol, use a hair and body softening perfume such as Serge Normant's Avah Eau de Parfum. The vitamin E rich formula with Aloe and Jojoba oils is both deep and decadent with sensual notes of Ylang Ylang and Amber. I'm obsessed. You'll both smell amazing, nourish your hair and save your hair color from fading. Two other amazing options are Show Beauty's Decadence hair fragrance, developed from the French perfume house Givaduan, and Valentino's Donna hair mist with its notes of bergamot, saffron and patchouli.

Treat yourself:

When the month is over, refresh your tired tresses with Leonor Greyhl Paris' Masque Quintessence ($145.00) from roots to ends. Use for 10 to 20 minutes to erase the effects of those late nights and usher in the New Year.

Thanks so much Danielle for filling us in on on hot tips for sexy holiday hair. I have to go now so I can buy everything. Stay tuned for more of what is hot in hair from Danielle Sea happy holidays.
