Anthony Manfredonia - Styles You Right
If I was to try to describe my dear friend Anthony Manfredonia, words like consummate, indefatigable and tenacious come to mind. William and Stephanie could clearly see their boy had a gift, but he blossomed in high school after attending a summer program at Parsons School of Design in New York . Anthony continued on there to do his undergraduate studies.
I will always remember the first time we met. I was doing a fitting for a designer and in walked this maelstrom of energy. We hit it off right away and continued to work together for over a year. When at my first fitting as the face of Isaac Mizrahi, who do you think walks in as Isaac's head designer; the one and only Anthony. We had not seen each other for a while but loved the fact we would again be working with each other. He effulgent in his craft which is why the top fashion designers love working with him, Donna Karan and Tracy Reese included.
At some point in every designers life, if they want to build a brand, they have to go out on their own. Anthony launched his own luxury brand "Manfredonia New York". I was lucky enough to be the face of his brand and I watched first hand as he created magic . His designs are sexy, and elegant with vibrant colour and great lines.
The list of celebrities that have stepped out in his designs is too long to list, but some of my favourites are Beyonce( The Queen)
Lady Gaga, Kelly Osbourne , Rhianna , and now Joe Jonas, who is featured wearing some pieces from the new collection in entertainment weekly. Anthony continues to launch collection after stunning collection and is being requested by every one from Gigi Hadid to the Kardashians. His talents reach far beyond fashion. He is also a creative Director. You are going to adore the Love Bunny music video he directed as well as styled. With a sharp eye and attention to detail, the amount of effort that he puts into one pice of haute couture is astounding. Unless you look like perfection while standing, sitting and moving around, the piece is not finished. Anthony will also be styling Zhang Li a Chinese movie star with over 11 million followers!!! He is sought after all over the world and is a huge hit in Asia.
Anthony has teamed up with fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone and is represented in her chic showroom Peoples Revolution in Soho and our boy could not be busier. He has stunning layouts appearing in several hot magazines like Nylon , New York, VVV and Cake to name a few, with many more in the works. Anthony has shown continued brilliance in a harsh industry and is an ebullient force in the fashion world.
