JK Place creator hotelier Ori Kaffri always seems to get it right, when you sit down with him first thing you notice is “damn this man can dress”. Anyone who pays such attention to detail well no surprise he gives his guest the finer things in his hotels.
From the moment you step up and ring the bell, its as if you are visiting old friends. You are welcomed by his friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are eager to help you with anything you need and no one is bugging you for a credit card to check in. After your welcome cocktail, you are immediately enthralled by the beautiful art and sculptures around you. It definitely gives you a feeling of relaxation and style. Ori leaves nothing to chance and has teamed up with interior designer and architect Michele Bonan (who also designs for Ferragamo). So I knew I was about to be spoiled. As you step into each room, you step into another refreshingly stylish environment. No two are alike and each is more spectacular than the last.
I am whisked off to my enchanted room, but, even before I get there, I am sitting in the elevator feeling very old Hollywood on the most beautiful couch. I should be wearing big Jackie O glasses as the paparazzi will for sure be there with flashing lights as I step out. Easy to see why the who's who of the world choose to stay here and Hollywood throws its parties -- Zoolander 2 knew exactly where to celebrate when filming in Rome. Walking down the luxurious hallway, I finally reach my room turn my key and enter a fantasy. I walk out on to my balcony and take in the beautiful views of Italy. There is nothing that has been forgotten in this room. You are completely pampered. Loving the complimentary mini bar with wine and other spirits, non-alcoholic drinks and signature JK Place snacks of every kind, which is refilled daily at no charge to you. Tres Chic. All of the natural skin and hair products are made specially for JK Place in Israel so your bathroom is already a spa and smells so good.
Heading back down in my Hollywood elevator I walk to the lounge for a glass of Bellavista (Italian style champagne) but I soon learn why it's called aperitif my one cocktail is accompanied by a variety of scrumptious appetizers lovely Italian savory pastries filled with all kinds of choices of cheeses and meats. Then came shrimp, tuna with every bite your more intrigued and this is just my first drink, I soon realize I may never leave JK place. The menu can be compared to any high end restaurant the burger and burgers are my thing is perfection, but I did in-depth research so nothing will disappoint and don't miss brunch because it's as visually creative as it is delicious. Lots of cocktails to choose from with the many varieties of sparkling available it Italy, Prosecco is just the beginning.
Walking out into the city you are placed in the center of lush surroundings including restaurants, high end stores and of course the Spanish Steps are minutes away.
